The Music of Haré + Guu

The music is nearly as catchy as Azumanga...

I love all the music to this series! Especially "Love Tropicana" the opening theme! Its so off the wall. In fact, the song was played at our local convention's dance. as a limbo song!!! and it worked great!! :D

There are many fun songs. Love Tropicana, Guu's theme song, Hare's theme song, Hare's video game theme song, Weda/Dr. Clive's naughty, romantic theme song, the ending theme song, "Birthday", etc. etc. :)

I also love pretty much all of the BGM. Some very good pieces of music. Most of it fits the strangeness of the series great :D there are also some slow dramatic pieces which are good.

Love Tropicana Final is so damn catchy.

I have to say that I have a strange fascination with the ending to FINAL. But Hare's little tirade in the opening of every episode of DELUXE is priceless.

I found the ending of Guu Final completely wonderful. Not so much for the music (good though it is), but for watching Guu playing her tambourine - it's hilarious! Also, I loved how each episode's ending added more and more characters walking back and forth and so on.

I love all the music of the original series, and the closing song of FINAL.

When I showed the first episode of the fansub of the original series to a Puerto-Rican friend of mine, he said the music used for "Love Tropicana" was from Mongo Santamaria many years ago. Don't know if this is true or not, but it would be neat to know the name of the original tune it it were. Either way, it's great. I even like the incidental music!

Can't wait for the DVDs!

So what's the likelihood of a domestic release of the soundtrack?

Yes I would like to know if there will be a domestic release of all the Jungle OSTs and Soundtracks? I have all the songs on my computer somewhere, but I would love to have them on cd with adorable covers and artwork in the booklets. Is AN entertainment also going to accuire Final? It would just make it all complete. The anime follows the manga very well, and I'm glad that it contiuned that far! Keep Up the Good work.

I just watched Azumanga and Harè+Guu Final in the past week and while Daioh had good music and a nice classical touch in places, the music in the Jungle Wa series far outshines it. The many different styles used through the three series are pulled off beautifully. I especially enjoyed the fact that DELUX's intro was a build off of the original series's. I like that Harè sings the later ending songs too, it's a nice touch. DELUX's ending has to be my favorite from the lot of them, with the original's opening and Final's ending being close seconds.

Jungle's music is a force to be wreckend with. They are my favorite songs (sadly enough).

All three Love Tropicana versions are great. I prefer Final, and Psycho likes the original. It reminds her of Brandy and Mister Whiskers. XD These are definitely on the favorite list.

So what is the actual name of the ED theme on the US dvd? I swear I heard it playing over the speakers at the outlet mall the other day (I couldn't believe it!)

The song for the ending on the US dvd is 'Soul train'. Song number 24 on my version of the OST. dunno who performed it.It's also in many of the episodes.
My favorite songs are the Op/Ed's , and Soultrain.

I like all the congs. Especially LOVE Tropicana FINAL and Teruteru Bouzu. I'm still trying to find the other 6 songs on the internet.
